Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the "Information on the Controller" section of this privacy policy.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected, on the one hand, from information you provide to us. This may, for example, be data you enter into a contact form.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to receive free information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

You can contact us at any time regarding this and any further questions on the subject of data protection.

Hosting

Shopify

We host our website with Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland (hereinafter "Shopify").

Shopify is a tool for creating and hosting websites. When you visit our website, Shopify collects your IP address as well as information about the device and browser you use. Shopify also analyzes visitor numbers, visitor sources, and customer behavior, and creates user statistics. If you make a purchase on our website, Shopify also collects your name, email address, delivery and billing addresses, payment data, and other data related to the purchase (e.g. phone number, amount of sales made, etc.). Shopify stores cookies in your browser for these analyses.

For details, see Shopify's privacy policy: https://www.shopify.de/legal/datenschutz.

The use of Shopify is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable possible presentation of our website. If corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Data Processing Agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law that ensures the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Unless a more specific storage period has been specified within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.

Note on Data Transfer to the USA and Other Third Countries

We use, among other things, tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not deemed safe under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in these third countries. We would like to point out that no level of data protection comparable to that in the EU can be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obligated to hand over personal data to security authorities without you, as the data subject, being able to take legal action against this. It therefore cannot be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) may process, analyze, and permanently store your data located on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence over these processing activities.

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and to Direct Advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED, UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(1) GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT ADVERTISING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT ADVERTISING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT ADVERTISING (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(2) GDPR).

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged violation. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Encrypted Payment Transactions on This Website

If there is an obligation to transmit your payment data (e.g. account number for direct debit authorization) to us after the conclusion of a contract subject to a fee, this data is required for payment processing.

Payment transactions using common means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are made exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

With encrypted communication, your payment data transmitted to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, Deletion, and Correction

Within the framework of applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and any further questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to Restriction of Processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may only be processed—apart from being stored—with your consent or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

Objection to Advertising Emails

The use of contact data published within the framework of the legal notice obligation for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and informational material is hereby objected to. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising material, such as spam emails.

Data Collection on Our Website

Cookies

Our internet pages use so-called "cookies." Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your terminal device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your terminal device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them yourself or your web browser automatically deletes them.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your terminal device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.

Cookies required for the execution of the electronic communication process, for the provision of certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function), or for the optimization of the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent has been requested for the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG); consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When deactivating cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Insofar as cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately about this within the framework of this privacy policy and, if applicable, request consent.

GDPR Legal Cookie by Shopify

Our website uses GDPR Legal Cookie by Shopify to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your terminal device or to the use of certain technologies, and to document this in compliance with data protection regulations. The provider of this technology is Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland (hereinafter "Shopify").

When you enter our website, a connection is established to Shopify's servers in order to obtain your consents and other declarations regarding the use of cookies. Shopify then stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to assign the consents you have given or their revocation to you. The data collected in this way is stored until you ask us to delete it, you delete the Shopify cookie yourself, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention obligations remain unaffected. Details can be found at: https://apps.shopify.com/gdpr-legal-cookie.

The use of GDPR Legal Cookie by Shopify is carried out in order to obtain the legally required consents for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Data Processing Agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law that ensures the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), if this was requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your inquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions—in particular retention periods—remain unaffected.

Inquiry by Email, Telephone, or Fax

If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.

The data you send to us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions—in particular statutory retention periods—remain unaffected.

Registration on This Website

You can register on this website in order to use additional functions on the site. We only use the data entered for this purpose for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will refuse the registration.

For important changes, such as the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we use the email address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The processing of the data entered during registration is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling the user relationship established by the registration and, if applicable, for initiating further contracts (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The data collected during registration will be stored by us for as long as you are registered on this website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Analysis Tools and Advertising

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Tag Manager is a tool that helps us integrate tracking or statistics tools and other technologies on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies, and does not perform any independent analyses. It only serves to manage and implement the tools integrated through it. However, Google Tag Manager collects your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google's parent company in the United States.

The use of Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the fast and uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on its website.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of stay, operating systems used, and origin of the user. This data is combined in a user ID and assigned to the respective terminal device of the website visitor.

Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.

IP Anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide the website operator with other services relating to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please see Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Demographic Characteristics in Google Analytics

This website uses the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics in order to be able to display advertisements suitable for website visitors within the Google advertising network. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account, or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics, as described in the "Objection to Data Collection" section.

Data Processing Agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Google Analytics E-Commerce Measurement

This website uses the "e-commerce measurement" function of Google Analytics. With the help of e-commerce measurement, the website operator can analyze the purchasing behavior of website visitors in order to improve its online marketing campaigns. Information such as orders placed, average order values, shipping costs, and the time from viewing to purchasing a product is collected. This data can be combined by Google under a transaction ID assigned to the respective user or their device.

Hotjar

This website uses Hotjar. The provider is Hotjar Ltd., Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta, Europe (website: https://www.hotjar.com).

Hotjar is a tool for analyzing your user behavior on this website. With Hotjar, we can record, among other things, your mouse and scroll movements and clicks. Hotjar can also determine how long you remained with the mouse cursor at a certain point. Hotjar uses this information to create so-called heatmaps, which can be used to determine which areas of the website are preferred by website visitors.

Furthermore, we can determine how long you stayed on a page and when you left it. We can also determine at which point you interrupted your input into a contact form (so-called conversion funnels).

In addition, Hotjar can be used to obtain direct feedback from website visitors. This function serves to improve the website operator's web offerings.

Hotjar uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies or the use of device fingerprinting).

Insofar as consent has been obtained, the use of the aforementioned service is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. If no consent has been obtained, the use of this service is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website offering and its advertising.

Deactivating Hotjar

If you would like to deactivate data collection by Hotjar, click the following link and follow the instructions there: https://www.hotjar.com/policies/do-not-track/

Please note that Hotjar must be deactivated separately for each browser or terminal device.

For more information about Hotjar and the data collected, please see Hotjar's privacy policy at the following link: https://www.hotjar.com/privacy

Data Processing Agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law that ensures the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Google Ads

The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms on Google (keyword targeting). In addition, targeted advertisements can be displayed based on user data available at Google (e.g. location data and interests) (audience targeting). As the website operator, we can quantitatively evaluate this data, for example by analyzing which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many ads led to corresponding clicks.

The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.

Google AdSense (Non-Personalized)

This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use Google AdSense in "non-personalized" mode. Unlike personalized mode, the advertisements are therefore not based on your previous user behavior, and no user profile is created for you. Instead, so-called "contextual information" is used to select advertising. The advertisements selected are then based, for example, on your location, the content of the website you are on, or your current search terms. For more information on the differences between personalized and non-personalized targeting with Google AdSense, see: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9007336.

Please note that cookies or comparable recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting) may also be used when using Google AdSense in non-personalized mode. According to Google, these are used to combat fraud and abuse.

You can independently adjust your advertising settings in your user account. To do this, click the following link and log in: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.

More information on Google's advertising technologies can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Google Ads Remarketing

This website uses the functions of Google Ads Remarketing. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

With Google Ads Remarketing, we can assign people who interact with our online offering to certain target groups in order to subsequently show them interest-based advertising within the Google advertising network (remarketing or retargeting).

Furthermore, the advertising target groups created with Google Ads Remarketing can be linked to Google's cross-device functions. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to your previous usage and browsing behavior on one terminal device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your terminal devices (e.g. tablet or PC).

If you have a Google account, you can object to personalized advertising at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Further information and Google's privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de.

Audience Building with Customer Matching

For audience building, we use, among other things, Google Ads Remarketing's customer matching. Here we transfer certain customer data (e.g. email addresses) from our customer lists to Google. If the relevant customers are Google users and logged into their Google account, they will be shown appropriate advertising messages within the Google network (e.g. on YouTube, Gmail, or in the search engine).

Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Conversion Tracking. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

With the help of Google Conversion Tracking, Google and we can recognize whether the user has performed certain actions. For example, we can evaluate which buttons on our website were clicked and how often, and which products were viewed or purchased particularly frequently. This information is used to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and what actions they performed. We do not receive any information that would allow us to personally identify the user. Google itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification.

The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

More information on Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Facebook Pixel

This website uses the Facebook visitor action pixel for conversion measurement. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

This allows the behavior of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes, and future advertising measures to be optimized.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible, and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. This allows Facebook to enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.

The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and https://de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381.

Insofar as personal data is collected on our website and forwarded to Facebook with the help of the tool described here, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). This joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of data and its transfer to Facebook. The processing carried out by Facebook after the forwarding is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us jointly have been set out in an agreement on joint processing. The wording of the agreement can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing the data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for the data-protection-compliant implementation of the tool on our website. Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook products. You can assert data subject rights (e.g. requests for information) regarding data processed by Facebook directly with Facebook. If you assert data subject rights with us, we are obligated to forward them to Facebook.

Facebook's privacy notices provide further information on protecting your privacy: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also deactivate the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function in the ad settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Newsletter and Postal Advertising

Newsletter Data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an email address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use newsletter service providers for the handling of newsletters, which are described below.

Sendinblue

This website uses Sendinblue to send newsletters. The provider is Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany.

Sendinblue is a service that can be used, among other things, to organize and analyze the sending of newsletters. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored on Sendinblue's servers in Germany.

Data Analysis by Sendinblue

With the help of Sendinblue, we are able to analyze our newsletter campaigns. For example, we can see whether a newsletter message was opened and which links, if any, were clicked. In this way, we can determine, among other things, which links were clicked particularly often.

We can also determine whether certain predefined actions were carried out after opening/clicking (conversion rate). For example, we can determine whether you made a purchase after clicking on the newsletter.

Sendinblue also allows us to divide newsletter recipients into various categories ("clustering"). Newsletter recipients can be divided, for example, by age, gender, or place of residence. In this way, newsletters can be better adapted to the respective target groups.

If you do not want an analysis by Sendinblue, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message for this purpose.

Detailed information on the functions of Sendinblue can be found at the following link: https://de.sendinblue.com/newsletter-software/.

Legal Basis

Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Storage Duration

The data you have provided to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after unsubscribing from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist, if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is only used for this purpose and is not combined with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not time-limited. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

For more details, see Sendinblue's privacy policy at: https://de.sendinblue.com/datenschutz-uebersicht/.

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law that ensures the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Postal Advertising

We use your address in compliance with all legal provisions for sending postal advertising (postal marketing).

The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in direct advertising pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) in conjunction with Recital 47 GDPR. If corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time. More specific regulations may be communicated to you as part of data collection and take precedence over this provision.

Your address will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to postal advertising, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.

We use the following service provider for sending our postal mailings:

FLYERALARM GmbH
Alfred-Nobel-Str. 18

 Plugins and Tools

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must establish a connection to Google's servers. This allows Google to know that this website was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the font on its website.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

More information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

 E-Commerce and Payment Providers

Processing of Customer and Contract Data

We collect, process, and use personal customer and contract data for the establishment, content organization, and modification of our contractual relationships. We only collect, process, and use personal data on the use of this website (usage data) to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship and expiry of any applicable statutory retention periods. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Data Transfer upon Conclusion of Contract for Online Shops, Retailers, and Goods Shipping

If you order goods from us, we pass on your personal data to the shipping company entrusted with delivery and to the payment service provider commissioned with payment processing. Only such data is disclosed as is required by the respective service provider to fulfill its task. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. If you have given corresponding consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, we will pass on your email address to the shipping company entrusted with delivery, so that it can inform you by email about the shipping status of your order; you can revoke your consent at any time.

Payment Services

We integrate payment services from third-party companies on our website. When you make a purchase from us, your payment data (e.g. name, payment amount, bank details, credit card number) is processed by the payment service provider for the purpose of payment processing. The respective contractual and data protection provisions of the respective providers apply to these transactions. The use of payment service providers is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract processing) as well as in the interest of the smoothest, most convenient, and secure payment process possible (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Insofar as your consent is requested for certain actions, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis for data processing; consent can be revoked at any time for the future.

We use the following payment services/payment service providers within the framework of this website:

Mollie

The provider of this payment service is Mollie B.V., Keizersgracht 126, 1015CW Amsterdam, Netherlands (hereinafter "Mollie"). With the help of Mollie, we can integrate various payment methods on our website. For details, see Mollie's privacy policy: https://www.mollie.com/de/privacy.

Mandatory Information Pursuant to Article 13 GDPR

In the event of initial contact, we are obligated pursuant to Art. 12, 13 GDPR to provide you with the following mandatory data protection information: If you contact us by email, we process your personal data only insofar as there is a legitimate interest in the processing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have consented to the data processing (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the processing is necessary for the initiation, establishment, content organization, or modification of a legal relationship between you and us (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or another legal provision permits the processing. Your personal data will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions—in particular tax and commercial law retention periods—remain unaffected. You have the right at any time to free information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to object, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Furthermore, you can request the correction, deletion, and, under certain circumstances, the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
